A yoga that is found in atleast 30-40% of horoscopes

that I have in my database, people often complain that

it is not as big as it sounds. In some of the

classical malayalam translations of Brihat Jathaka(it

is written that this yoga will kill the bad effects of

any other bad yoga that you have in your chart. e.g.

Kemadruma yoga, Daridra Yoga.

But from thinking out of clean logic, what will be a

strong Gaja Kesari Yoga. For a Pisces Ascendant, if Ju

and Mo is in Cancer,

1. Jupiter the lagna lord and 10nth lord is exalted

2. Moon the 5th lord is in own house

3. 5th and 10nth lord forms a raja yoga.

Now when looking at the Gaja Kesari Yoga, here are the

things that I look at lately

1. Does Ju have Kendradipatya Dosha

2. Is Mo or Ju Debiliated or lack strength. Ksheena

Chandran is a Papa Chandran. if debiliated is there a

NBRY

3. Does Ju rule any dushtana houses ? 3,6,8,11,12.

Yeah I take 3 also

So the long and short, if JU has the lordship of 1,5,9

(Konas) and if Mo rules a Kendra/Kona and a GJY is

formed and if you have dashas of Jupiter or Moon in

your life time, we will see a full frution of this

Yoga.

I am yet to see a horoscope which has this. As always,

I am an amatuer and any one on this list can shout at

me for wrong doing

I have a Gajakesari yoga and I have been told it is very good and will show its

results in coming months.My DOB IS 14-9-1969 AND TOB IS 5:42AM AND POB IS NEW

DELHI.

It would be very nice if you can analyse my Chart.

If jupiter is in Kendra(1,4,7,10) /Kona (1,5,9) from Lagna or Chandra Lagna

Gaja Kesari Yoga is formed. This will give fruitful results when Jupiter is

not afflicted or does not have papa drusti.

Hamsa Yoga. -> I have also observed few charts. This yoga is very good for

singers. Jupiter being in Exaltation (depends on degrees) and Kendra/Kona

from Lagna or Chandra Lagna , this yoga is formed.

You are right. Most of the yogas are common in most of the charts, the results

are not show, why ? Because , in my opinion we have to see the Planets

position in Navamsa and other Charts.

Depends on Strength of the planet the yoga will give results.

Its only I am sharing my thoughts, I am not a Astrologer. I am just follower

of Astrology. Please excuse me if something is wrong in my mail.

Dear Anoop:

I cannot even claim to be the amature.

Here is my question.

The Shastra just says "Hanti sarwagrahaarishtam chandre kendre brihaspati yathaa

gajasahasraanaam madhye kesari iva." (I do not have the texts here; next week i

am in India and I will bring back all the texts; god willing; then I can quote

correctly).

There is no mention of other conditions.

Similarly ati maanusha yoga is another interesting yoga where it is said

"devaacaarya suraacaaryo parasparam drishtir yogam vaa deerghaayuratimaanushaH"

I have both yogas.

In someways I have found its benifits too.

Instead of talking theory why not we use my horo as an example.

DOB 23 Septemner 1950;

Time 1:13 PM

Place

Cochin.

Sagittarius ascendent. I have the Jupiter who is the lord of ascendant in 3rd

with Moon who is 8th Lord. Aspecting and aspected by Mercury and venus in the

9th (leo) and Mars in Scorpio aspecting the Jupiter Moon. I am using the raashi

chakra.

In the Bhavacakra if i remember correctly the Jupiter shifts down. What is the

difference if in Bhava chakra the plants shift to two different houses?

Practically what I have found is whatever position I hold those who are above

and below me respect me; (except when I am having a bad period*smile*) I have

attained positions none of my compatriots ever achieved or is likely to

achieve. I have enemies who would like to eat me alive but they are mostly

ineffective.

Can we discuss this? If necessary I shall copy the horoscope and send.

Dear Menon.

My 2 cents

Yes like a lion can destroy a thousand elephants(can

he really), a GKY will destroy the malefic effects

caused by other planets. But the question is whether

it bestows additional comforts. e.g. Can it grant the

Beauty of Malavya & Valor of Ruchaka.

And about, Ati maanusha yoga, what if an exalted Ju is

aspecting Ve in Capricon ? Lemme have a look at your

chart and write in detail later

Here is a good example for Gajakesari Yoga.

DOB: May 28th 1923

TOB: 16.39.00

Time Zone: 5.30 east of GMT

Longitude: 80E59

Latitude: 16N27

This person was an actor and later became a Cheif Minister.
