Guest guest
I was only responding to the growing interest in the members knowing the Nakshatra method. To an skilled astrologer, he can predict using many patented techniques of astrology. I found few people effectively using Yogini Dasha which requires lesser calcuations, once accustomed will be able to make mental calculations without use of pen and paper. The dasha periods being very short often running into days, the accuracy surprises. With Tajik, the problem is one need to make the varshphal chart for each year. Though it is said to be coming from western+ muslim influence, when seen from proper prospective, it is the same Hindu Vedic Astrology, in UNDIGESTED form. It is a natal chart+transit in one place, with one year validity. The great ( i often hate to use this word w.r.t. Alexander ) Alexander wondered how, his various efforts of defeating the enemy was meeting with toughest resistance in India ( those days THE GREAT Bharat ). He was informed by his advisers that Hindus use some science calling astrology and "time their attacks" or movements based on some astronomical calculations, thereby "foiling" ( Alexander suffered maximum loses of army when he fought with The GREAT Bharat small kingdom quite unlike his other experiences, which finally deterred and wear down his own army & his further ambitions of going on conquering ) some of Alexander's imperialistic desires i.e. giving great resistance. On learning this Alexander ordered that all this " intelligent guys" should be "CAUGHT" and brought before him. This intelligent "jyotish" or astrologers, parted with some of the knowledge. Alexander or his teammates, could not understand the nakshatras, astronomical calculations, remedial measurs, mantras for propitation.....etc., completely. It was TOO much for him including to his advisers. Instead he decided that there is no point in learning this great science, he took few of this intelligent guys alongwith him. ( Ofcourse, Alexander died on his way back at may be Babylon due to EXCESSIVE drinking of alcohol. Result - Tajik WAS BORN. A half-baked theories, ( feel better - UNDIGESTED THEORY/matter ) with Vedic Astrology as a base, nicely camouflaged as an independent version or equivalent challenger to Vedic Astrology. TAJIK cannot claim to have scriptures/classics to quote other than hearsay. Then came the one of the genuine researches of modern time i.e. Meena's work, more popularly known as "Krishna Murthy Paddati" or KP System. Which used the western Placidus house system ( I do not know what is this Placidus system !!! ???. Though I do know few things of KP system, I have not ventured into it completely. I have great respect for it) combined Hindu Vedic Astrology. The traditional "Vimshottari People" countered tried to imbibe some of the modern day research with "nakshatra" methods. Nevertheless, the KP system also delivers spectacular results ( generally in good astro_hands !!). Result, modern day amateurs are more confused. We have some members collecting "books" of all sorts, trying to solve the puzzle of picking the best in each one, finally coming up with new methods. Innovation is a must, but the results should not end up with what happened to art ( read MODERN ART, ROCK Music or Rap Songs !!! ) Refer Sri R.K. Laxman's cartoons on the same to get inkling of what it could be. Unless, I create a Hype, how can I become a Master ?? Hence, hype. Western astrologers use Neptune, Pluto, Uranus. Many Indian astro_software techies jumped the bandwagon including it in their versions. Can any one tell, what is the debilitation, exaltation or mooltrikona signs for these planets. What are the planetary aspects...etc.. Imagine the Mahadasha of any of these Great Planets - 265 years of Nepture, 300 years of Pluto... ( no. of years mentioned is not exact but indicative ) .... when a man's life is hardly 100 years. Apply Sade-Sati techniques. Sounds really interesting !!!! ( sarcastic ). Tomorrow the satellites will discover few more planets, which will also find its place in astrology,...thereby changing the very facet of astrology. According to me the way Vedic astrology is conceived for predictions, using the nodes Rahu/ketu is unparalled. If one has proper birth chart, there is no need to make prasna chart also. One can make assessment using normal dasha and transits. In my next e-mail I shall describe some of the logics of people living beyond the normal age of 100 years, and how it is possible to beat the death !!!- technically. In short, Mr. Shalmali Pethe I agree with your view. A bad workman always quarrels with his tools !!!! Guest guest
Hello Srinivas, There are always more than one method to solve a problem and still get the same answer. Different people like different techniques, and techniques that work for them. We are not saying one method is better than the other. It depends what method works for you. I had the opportunity to study astrology with number of famous astrologers all over the world. They all have their own way of doing calculations. I learnt how they do they their calculations, and what techniques they use. I adopted techniques that I liked, and I felt will work for me. I also felt that astrologers who were using nakshatras were able to give more accurate predictions. Other astrologers either didn't have the time to apply nakshatras or they have no knowledge on how to apply nakshatras. I am into astrology for more than 16 years now. The traditional astrology does not work, predictions go wrong all the time. Traditional astrologers have no explanation why a person got promotion when the person was in sadh sati, and the traditional astrologers predicted bad things for him. The traditional astrologers have no explanation why the person had terrible loss when jupiter was transiting 11th house from moon when traditional astrologers predicted success. The traditional astrologers still try to justify their predictions by talking about combustion, badhaka planet, veda position, kala sarpa yoga etc. I was very frustrated. Then I came in contact with ChakraPani Ullal in los angeles. Chakrapani has more than 50 years experience in astrology. I was amazed how he will use nakshatras and give very accurate predictions to people. He will even predict what kind of diseases people will have and when they will have by using nakshatras. So I developed interest in nakshatras and learnt nakshatras from Chakrapani. So I will still use traditional astrology techniques but with nakshatras. I followed these techniques for quite some time. After that I read some books on KP System, and found KP System very interesting. So I started using more techniques from KP system which depends heavily on nakshatras and subs. The traditional astrology is so boring and doesn't give you accurate predictions. I can give you number of cases where the clients were expecting raj yogas because they had conjunction of 9th and 10th lord in their charts and they were entering the 9th hord's mahadasa. But they had terrible time because both the 9th lord and 10th lord although placed in good house were in terrible nakshatras. Or the person was going through the exalted planet's dasha but had terrible time because the planet was placed in terrible nakshatra. It is not bad work man quarreling with his tools. But there are some tools that don't work, you need to give them up and adopt new tools that really work for you. Regards G. Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru Namaste Sreeram Ji, That was a fantastic note. You have mentioned in your note : "We have some members collecting "books" of all sorts, trying to solve the puzzle of picking the best in each one, finally coming up with new methods. Innovation is a must, but the results should not end up with what happened to art ( read MODERN ART, ROCK Music or Rap Songs !!! ) Refer Sri R.K. Laxman's cartoons on the same to get inkling of what it could be." If you are thinking about me in that word "some members", then please answer to my following question. * Is there some thing wrong in collecting/purchasing books and reading them to various methods ? By the way, I have not invented or came up with any new method yet. I am still stuggling to understand the basics of this devine science and I do not even believing in coming up with a new method also. Now coming to your subject matter of Nakshtras. I have used Nakshatras heavily about 1-1/2 years ago, and missed using them after learing some new methods, those do not need to use Nakshatra's. I have re-used Nakshatras for my own learning after reading Sri Singh's mails about few months ago in this list, then it started making sense to me again. So there is nothing like "Nakshatra Fever" or "Prashna Fever" or "Narayana Dasa Fever" or 'Vimsottari Dasa Fever" or "Tithi Pravesha Fever". If one can understand a method and can apply reliably with consistency, then why not to use it. I am not supporting Sri Singh or any one on any of their theory, but I sincerely belive "Use the tools and methods works best for you and do not complain about others and their usage of tools and methods." I also see the Guru of the person, from where some one is learning. In this case for an example, Sri Singh's Guru Ji is Sri Chakrapani Ullal Ji and who is a very seasoned astroleger and I respect him. So leave these things to individuals and you please adopt what works best for you and people will follow the method which you have adopted if they find it giving results consistently. I lookfoward to your next note on "...some of the logics of people living beyond the normal age of 100 years, and how it is possible to beat the death !!!- technically.". Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us in advance.
