What Is the Purpose of Vedic Astrology Discussion Group ?

Friends,

I want to ask this basic question to the ownner and moderator of our

group of which I am a member for over four or five years.

Our group motto reads as,

"This discussion group discusses the principles of Vedic astrology

(Jyotish) in a hermitage-like atmosphere of devoted learning,

selfless sharing, courtesy and mutual respect. People freely ask very

basic questions and get answers, while very advanced discussions are

going on alongside.

 

Some of the topics discussed in Jan-Oct 99 were - special Lagna like

Ghati Lagna, Arudha, Argala, Kala Chakra dasa, Moola dasa, Rasi

dasa's like Narayana dasa, Sudasa, Brahma dasa and Drig dasa, various

divisional charts, Tajaka charts and mundane charts

 

Note: This forum is for discussing concepts. If you want to submit

your birth data for free help, you may do it. But be prepared for not

getting a reply "

Some members have started acting like self appointed Net Nannaies and

started dictating terms as to what a members should post and what he

should not post. What he should predict and what he should not

predict.

 

It is very painful to read some unbecoming comments by Guru and

members of this group trying to put me down .

One member even went to the extent of calling me a "CHANDAL JYOTISHI".

Just because I formulated a theory based on Rahu and am trying to

prove it for mundane predictions like earthquake, natural and man

made disasters do I get called a CHANDAL ?

To help someone or not to is left to the discreation of individuals.

I need not reply questions abot marriage and service or other things

put by people who want answers. There are many learned friends who

are doing such beautiful service.

 

I AM SORRY MR. MODERATOR AND CHI. NARASIMHA TO READ SUCH THINGS.

 

I want to know if such things will be permissible in this group ?

Dear Trivedi saheb.

Since you have obliquely referred to my exchanges with

you in the below mail, I am quite tempted to reply

them for there is a very strong reason for what I did.

However, I would refrain from writing to you anything

because I have given a word to a very senior member of

this list that I won't even utter a word against

you...I would leave at that....
