Guest guest
Dear Rafal, The mantra you have given is a very powerful, secret and sensitive mantra. Elders usually don't directly teach this mantra to anyone. They instead teach a long stotram (Mantraraja Pada Stotram), which was taught by Shiva to Parvati. If you collect the first word from each stanza, you get this mantra. Traditionally, people avoid directly teaching this mantra. But, probably your approach of directly sharing it is more appropriate for this deep Kali Yuga... Anyway, I have some comments/corrections. > ugram viram maha-vishnum> > jvalantam sarvato mukham Here "sarvatomukham" is one word, i.e. there is no break/breath in between. If you take a breath between "sarvato" and "mukham", it is wrong. > nrisimham bhishanam bhadram The correct pronunciation is neither "nRsimham" nor "nRsinham". The anunaasika (nasal) before "ham" is pneither "m" nor the normal "n". It is identical to the nasal before "g" in "king". In other words, it is kind of like "nRsin(g)ham". But "g" should not be explicit. Pronounce the nasal that comes before "g" and then pronounce "ham" without break. Devotion is more important than pronunciation. But when one is ready, one can try to perfect the pronunciation too. > mrityur mrityum namamy aham This is wrong. The standard version is "mrityumrityum" (one word and no "r" after the first "mrityu"). If you make it "mrityormrityum", it is still correct as per metre and meaning. But with "mrityur", there is no meaning. Secondly, "namaamyaham" is one word.
