I wanted to give you some feedback on your post. 1)Yes, his wife works, but has a nasty temperment. 2)A marraige takes two and rarely is it is one persons fault.I'm sure he also has given her some grief as well.His severe depression msut be a challenge for her, even through when feeling well, he made alot of money and provided well for his family. 3)You were wrong on this point.His early childhood wasnt very nice, he grew up in a Brahmin family,but on the oor side, so there were stresses, he was beaten mercilessly by his father,usually when he tried to interfer with the treatment of his mother. He was treated very cruely by his father. His loving mother was helpless to interfer , she herself a victim of her husbands rages. This man has a noble conviction to serve his family and parents by keeping the marriage.Sometimes leaving and going abroad is the best option.Why stay and make everyone miserable.? These men suffer being seperated from their dear children,but care enough to stay in the bad marriage in the way they can, what is wrong with that? Anyway, A nice jupiter in or ,aspecting 7th house , lord, UL etc helps keep marriages together..as the person has the belief in dharma ,etc/ There are a few things I personally cant handle. 1) When a person is so miserable in a marraige that they are contemplating suicide as the only solution. Did you see if this person contemplates suicide? 2)When a lady is being beaten severely by her husband or in-laws with a risk of death. In both these situations it is not good for either party including any children who have to observe and learn and suffer from such sights. Then the astrologer, when seeing that the usual measures arent working has to consider other options, such as suggesting divorce or leaving spouse. In case there is any doubt in your mind. I grately admire the austerities Indian men and women make to keep marraige together. I also think some form of arranged marraige is a good thing, especially if backed up by the support of caring family. But, I cry when I hear of men and women killing themselves because they cant, wont or feel trapped and unable to get out of a marriage. I cant agree that it is their "karma" and they should accept it. In USA and other countries people leave relationships to easily, for trivial reasons.Thats the other side of the coin.It is Kali Yuga and thats what happens in Kali-Yuga. I was a landlord for 14 years, its ironic that most of our tenants where men either getting divorced or seperated as their wives had taken every penny they earned ,plus the house, poisoned the childrens mind about their father and literally taken everthing except the clothes on their back , and in addition shackled them with years and years of child support and alimony. No wonder they think of suicide and suffer severe depressions and anxieties.! In addition to my previous american tenants, I've listened to thousands of people, mostly Indians that confide in me with their lives. In terms of sheer suffering in marraiges, I side with the Indian men when they are in the USA as they are outrageously unappreciated,and taken advantage of by women. And on the other side , In India I side with the women ,as they often secretly suffer alot due to dominating men,society restrictions,demands and cruel inlaws. It is a rare thing to find couples that are married for a long time, and both are happy,( ANYWHERE) in the world. Certainly to have a decent and loving spouse( even if poor), is the single greatest blessing one can have in life.
