Swaminarayan - Avatar or Guru?

You may be aware of the Swaminarayana Sampraday, which is one of the

fastest growing Hindu(vaishnava) sects, based on the doctrine of

Ramanuja, with millions of followers world wide. It is specially

prominent in Gujarat, U.K., U.S.A and Africa. The followers of this

samprday believe that Sahajanand Swami (or Swaminarayana) was the

supreme incarnation of Lord Narayana himself and is the cause of all

other avatars.

 

I would be interested in the opinions and views of this group on the

basis of His chart with regards to the validity of proclaiming

Swaminarayana as an avatar.
