Guest guest
Dear Sirs, I am an American whom I believe was an Indian in many previous lives. I am of the spiritual sort (mocksha) and my Guru is Paramhansa Yogananda who came to America to spread Kriya yoga. I realize that one must work within the energy (their birth chart) until they are able to rise above these influences (i.e. union with Spirit in samadhi). The usual astrology stuff is of no importance to me - relationships, finances, wealth, outer career, etc... I'm interested in a deeper reality because I know it is there. I have consciously been on this spiritual path for 11 years (I am now 44). Could you look at my chakra from a spiritual point of view? Please use Sri Yukteswar's 21+(?) degree amount. I know that I have quite a few retrogrades and they seemed to have made me a late bloomer. At 33 I got on this Yoga path and I felt like I had found my home. It did not take long for God/Guru to display miraculous things in me. I am now starting a new phase in my life where I am wondering how outward I should be. I would not mind just cutting everything off and trying to go into Nirvacalpa Samadhi and exiting this plane properly. But, I know I am to work for others for a while so I will be patient. I was born June 28, 1961, in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA. I don't know the longitude/latitude but I have my vedic birth chart memorized, Tauras ascendant/Lag., full moon birthchart sun conjunct retrograde mercury, Gemini, 2nd (1.5 degree apart, sun ahead) moon, Sagittarius, 8th mars conjunct rahu, 4th Leo venus 12th Aires Saturn and Jupiter 9th in Capricorn (both retrograde) Jupiter in 9th in Navasma, too I know that my spiritual efforts are stimulated (rahu/mars in 4th) when I get physical (like exercise). I am a saturn sort of person in some ways. I guess saturn is important for a Taurus rising in vedic astrology because it pulls the 9th and 10th together. Since saturn conjuncts jupiter in 9th I guess being a yogi makes sense. The raw energy coming through me from the rahu/mars in 4th and moon in 8th in fire signs means that energy is to be used (constructively, I hope). My adolescence and 20's were kind of rough. I was unaware of my spiritual past and didn't "wake up" until my early 30's. Planets in own signs Saturn, mercury. What does vedic astrology say in a chart like this? Where are sore points? Remember forget about the things like marriage, but think in terms of a soul's wanting ascension. Divine Mother, has given me samadhi a few times early on, but I had to act like a madman to get it! Thanks
