Ketu is affliected by Mercury who is a malefic for your asc, inspite of being lagna lord. 4th house is of course, is afflicted by Saturn and aspects of Mars Thus, your relationships have gone kaput. Even as Kuja dosham exists in your chart, Mars is also 6th Lord, the vyaya lord for desire and hence, his aspects of 7th House will give you late marriage and less pleasures on domestic front. Saturn is your AK and you are running Saturn MD, giving you trying times. Saturn is retro gives chesta bala, so you will continue to strive towards your objectives. AD is that of Jupiter lord of 7H and 10H, placed in 12H and hence the issues related to relationships and career are highlighted. This MD and AD as per 360 degrees gets over in Feb 2007. The next dasa of Mercury should be good as Mercury is LL. 2. You are correct in your analysis that i have two daughters. However, i do not tend to agree with the astrological observations. The reasons for disagreement could rest on the fact whether the astrological science is dynamic or static. From a young age, i was told that astrology impels but does not compel and my actions have always been based on that. i am a spiritual minded person. Although, my personal traits as mentioned by you would have been accurate but for the fact that over the last 15 - 20 years i have changed a lot. Although, i am not very outgoing and extrovert, but i do try and maintain working realtionship with everyone and avoid hurting / harming others. But people cheat me. It is like a tree laden with fruits and every passer-by throws stones and pick up a few fruits for self gratification. Even that is fine, but why do they then harm the same tree by throwing a hand-full of salt to its roots? i do not expect anything from anyone. Rather, i have always been working hard, with returns less than average and despite that i give and share. Also, i always ensure that i adequately remunerate any one who does any work / job for me. i do not want somone else to suffer the way i have been suffering. Shirdi Sai Baba has said that one should never under pay others for their efforts, especially the labour. Is it that my karmaas are being washed off faster? Does Jupiter in the 12th House give any indiation about moksha? i worked in the previous company for 20 years. If that is not patience, then we may have to redifine patience. i joined the new Company on lower salary, continued working very hard and did not open my mouth till i completed more than a year.Is that not patience? These days the younger generation expect results in a very short time and they demand and not request. i have also done several pujas and i am also wearing some yantra. Some years back, on advise of a learned astrologer, i got a Sree Chakra made and i was doing puja for almost 10 years. i do some amount of charity also. Will not all these help or mitigate the planetary problems? Also, you say Budha is malefic for Gemini ascendant. In that case, Budha Dasa which commences in 2007 will also not be good? Also, do you see any immediate problems (loss of job/ relocation) to my present job. These developments have taken place during last week, and i am a bit concerned about that also. Mercury is not a malefic for Gemini ascendant. Basically, it is a benefic as per accepted astrological dictum. I do not know if he has indicated Mercury is malefic to you due to adverse planetary placement in the natal horoscope. Still, the statement that he has mentioned that "Mercury is malefic though it is ascendant and 4th house lord" is patently wrong and may create wrong impressions in the minds of uninitiated astro-enthusiasts here. That is why I am clarifying this. I have not analysed the horoscope in detail.... infact I have not even calculated the horoscope. I am giving some general hints based on the notes that I gathered from various sources including my guruji Pandit. R.DAKSHINAMOORTHI - the eminent astrologer from Chennai, for the benefit of everyone in this forum. Gemini is an airy sign ruled by Mercury, the significator of communication and confidence. These factors render the Geminians with excellent powers of speech and communication. They have an energetic nature and are always looking for change, interchange, motion and invention. If the mind is turned inwards, the native has the ability to progress far in the spiritual field. If Gemini rises as the ascendant, the Ishta Devata would be mother divine, Goddess Lakshmi. This sign rules ears, lower neck, shoulders, arms, hands, respiratory and nervous systems, bronchial tubes, shoulder and collar bones, bones of arms and hands. As both the ascendant and the sixth house do not contain a mooltrikona sign then the Sun, the significator for vitality, would be considered as the prime determinant of health for Geminians. (I actually thought you will not heed my request because you were asking for privacy) Now, coming to the maleficness of mercury, yes, mercury is indeed malefic for you because he is a natural benefic and a natural benefic owning a quadrant becomes malefic. This i guess is one of the fundamental rules of determining the maleficness and beneficiane of planets for various lagnas. This needs no further clarification. Of course, such a malefic in retro will have his/her maleficiance mellowed. similiarly, such a malefic posited in a quadrant also becomes benefic. Benefics in quadrants only stop giving their good results. They do not become malefics. As for the funcitonal nature of the planets, it is true that fo Gemini ascendants, except for Venus the Yogkaraka, most of the other planets are functionally bad.
