Guest guest
Dear Sri. Pradeep, Namaste, Kula as i understand is the one that is manifested - having a form(similar to a fruit, called as Kula in local parlance). This can also be understood as a clan. Thus Shakthi is the manifestation of the unique conscuiousness called shiva.Shiva is the basis, while shakthi is the manifestation.''Like ink and writing''.When we write a word or draw, ink is within the clutches of the meaning or form conveyed. But when we rise above, we can understand that, the same ink is the basis for every word or drawing. Thus bindu is this realization. The unique or non dual realization. This is Shiva. In other words there is no distinction between devi and deva in this Bindu.Ardhanareeshawara is conveying this.Prakrithi and Purusha is the macro form of Man and Woman. But we should not forget that,Prakriti is the manifested form of Purusha. They are infact one and the same. 1)Assigning Murthi roopa, chanting mantras and seeing devi and deva as seperate is the first stage -Sthoola Upasana. 2)Awareness,desire and thereby further efforts to unite kula kundalini(shakthi) with its non dual form is the second stage –Sookshma Upasana.3)Worshiping ourselves as if we were HIM -is the advanced stage - Para Upasana. Thus Kula is the one having a manifestation/form or the one having a relation(clan).Traversing back through the Kula path results in Akula - the one that is notKula. Thus we are free of all bondages/relations and manifestations. We are HE himself.Well, with the kind of philosophy you have expressed, I can totally understand your difficulty in accepting "Kula at the top" when confronted with pramana! This is my understanding. As per this understanding Akula should be at the Top.In saundarya lahiri Shankara speaks of traversing the Kulapath.I personally feel ,one does this Tapasya to attain union with the formless consciousness and not vice-versa. vice-verse? Please read below. Please explain your understanding of Kula and Akula.(Akula is referred in paramanas – for eg.Lalita Sahasranama). Please read Lalita Upakhyana, Devi Bhagavatam. Kula doesn't ONLY mean clan/family/sakti there are several meanings and one of the meanings that I use is "adobe". Akula doesn't ONLY mean siva a more meaningful word is "low" or better put "lower consciousness". Kulapath as you paint is neither "Sakti rising to meet Siva" nor "Siva rising to meet Sakti"(you trying to infer from mine)! Consciousness has no sex! Kundalini is "THE SELF/CONSCIOUSNESS" rising. Akula here means "low/confused/agitated/disconnected" consciousness rising to reach its adobe(Kula). The path kundalini traverses through the 5 chakras/tatwas shows the rising of consciouness above "pancha bhuta tatwa" and at Agna it is yet to overcome "manas tatwa" which is "duality". Only when kundalini breaches Agna can one truly rise above duality and reach adobe(Kula). Pramanas have defined location of Mooladhara as between Linga and Guda.Mooladhara is the root or the base by meaning. It is also the last among evolution of Mahabhutas(panchabhuta). The said gross organs are falling in Vrischika, bordering Dhanu. Thus possibility for Mooladharam to be in Moolam has more pramana based logic to support as compared to Libra. "has more pramana based logic" according to YOUR LOGIC. The only point remaining is - whether mooladhara is couple of angulas above the perenium plane(as per your argument). But then you have to define the beginning of thighs or dhanu. Some translators even say Dhanu includes hip joints.i can wait. I have a pramana which says thighs are in Kumbha! warm regards, Vishnu -- Om Akhanda mandalaakaaramvyaptam yena charaa charamtatpadam darsita yena tasmai sri gurave namah
