Is this concerned with the placement of Shukra? or only when Shukra is Badhakathipathi or in Badhakastana to Lagna?. Can some one please suggest. Though it is a well known fact that most of the ladies are fascinated by its charms. Venus's placement in rik Bhavas or its placement in Maraka bhavas results in a bad effect if diamond is worn. Moreover it is better not to wear diamond. In reality diamond is a highly expensive stone. It comes in cents and not carats. A clear diamond with little inclusions and good size can cost a fortune. A diamond with smaller size (as cents) is meaningless as astrologically it will hardly effect anyone. According to manimala ( An ancient treatise) one should not wear a stone smaller than 2 carat. I will recommend Ficus Glomerata or Audumbara-bhasma herb for wearing as Talisman. You can perform Prana Pratishtha through Shukra Vedic mantra and then wear it.
