If this dosha is involved with the lord of seventh from Venus, then the separation will also be from spouse. Placement of LL in 5H (trine) is good for Lagna but not so good for 5H matters like children. Placement in 8H is not so good for longevity, in 9H may not be so good for father. But according to the first dictum, do you feel, Lagna lord in 5th will cause misfortune to the children (assuming no other affliction is there)? I specifically wanted to know, in such a case, where there is no affliction to the 5th(or any bhava where LL is placed), will that bhava prosper or suffer by the Lagna lord placement. Can you make that clear, if you dont mind please? In your example LL in 12th, Lagna will suffer because its lord is in a dusthana, but, the 12th house will prosper because LL is placed there(assuming no other afflictions). Am I right? This is what I have understood so far. But according to what I read recently (it was in some sjc site), LL in 12th will destroy the positive effects of 12th bhava(depriving the life force). This is what confusing me. I would like to know which is correct. I added extra "a"s (mohanraaam instead of guruji's id mohanram which he no longer uses and assumed this id as a mark of respect to him). I am not a practising astrologer. I learnt astrology basically to understand myself, my inner motivations and to know the dynamics of others with whom I enter into relationships. I find that this works perfectly well for me. I also give free readings and also contribute my views from time to time in forums like these. I would consider the astrological course under my Guruji. Pandit. R.DAKSHINAMOORTHI to be one of the best for any level of student. His teaching will make even complicated concepts easy to grasp. But, there are certain disadvantages of a course under him: 1) Firstly, he does not award any degree or certificate to his students. He teaches astrology in the traditional gurukul type of system and feels certificate is only a paper and real knowledge should really shine no matter what.... 2) Secondly, he may not easily accept a student under his guidance. Only if the students satisfy certain criteria he takes them in. But, from my experience, I can tell you, a 3 month beginner course in vedic astrology under him will really set you on the highroads of astrological achievement. Though he also trains some people through email communication, it is best to attend his classes personally at Chennai. If you are dedicated, you can learn the vital basics in even 1 month and progress to the advanced levels when you will no longer need the guidance of a teacher. So, try to make it convenient for you to attend his classes personally.
