Guest guest
Dear Jyotishi, Hare Krsna! Some have replied already to the quiz, while others have been inquiring about the correct time zone. To confirm about this - time zone is GMT +1, there was no daylight savings. I had said to post the right answer today, but since Raghunath proposed to me to put it into a multiple choice quiz, I will now give 4 possible answers, so that still more may try. I will then post the answer on next Wednesday. So, here we go, which of the following is correct? A) summer 2005 B) spring 1987 C) end of 1973 D) right after his birth For those that may want to use Shoola dasha, determine who is stronger sthira karaka for mother, Mars or the Moon... I'll be out of town the next 3 days, so you'll hear from me again on Jan. 2nd. Wish you all a happy newyear! Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagawate Vasudevaya Dear Dhiraji, Namaste. Here is my attempt: 1.D) right after his birth: This is not possible as Ju & Mo in Lagna. 2.C) end of 1973: This is also not possible. 3.B) spring 1987: Though he might went through some very bad phase, but for mother this shoola dasa can not be marak in this period 4.A) summer 2005: This is possible as Shools dasa for his mother Sc- Le, Ju is maraka for her placed in Sc, Le is 7th house. Other transits also adds to this. Actually spring 2005 also shows lot of difficulties/suffering for the native. Will wait for the answer. Please confirm the other readings whether they are correct. Guest guest
Namaste Raghunathaji, Can you please eloborate on the technique you used in ashtavarga system to derive the answer for the benefit of this forum members. Astro-enthusiasts like you are contributing to research and refinement of methods. You also initiated the discussion on Panchapakshi shastra leading Pandit. Dakshinamoorthiji to come out with his enlightened views on that shastram. He was very reluctant to teach the secrets of the shastram to anyone and was not even mentioning it outside his classes. You nearly brought him out of his shell! Kindly accept my humble felicitations on this count and also for your various knowledgeable discussions in this forum. However, a sad thing for all of us, Guruji has used his usual technique of avoiding teaching the secrets once again! Though he said he was willing to teach Pancha Pakshi shastram if atleast 10 persons enrolled for a course, he somehow or other discouraged everyone who contacted him on one pretext or the other! He feels that for everyday application of the techniques of Pancha Pakshi Shastra the book by Dr. Pulipanni should be more than enough and he himself has nothing to add regarding this when it comes to teaching the basics of the shastra. He says that he will teach the advanced secrets of the shastra to someone who really deserves that shastram and the time has not yet come for that. Maybe, if you can learn that wonderful shastra from your brother's father-in-law, you can share your knowledge for the benefit of the forum's members if you are so inclined. Happy new year 2006. Guest guest
Dear Dhira ji >From the fourth house,Jupiter and Sun become Marakas.Out of the given dates end of 1973,seems to be bad. Chandrahari ayanamsha gives Mercury/Sun/Jupiter during end of 1973.In transit Guru will be in 12th from 4th aspecting 4th lord. As per Lahiri Ayanamsha, end of 1973 - will be Mercury/Moon/Jupiter. Mercury, dasha lord is a maraka from 4th lord.It is the nakshthra lord for moon and lagna(lagna in 4th pada of jyeshta). It is 8th and 11th lords for the native. I feel it is end of 1973. Guest guest
Dear Pradeep, > Actually spring 2005 also shows lot of difficulties/suffering for the >native. Nothing of this happened. It was a busy time for him, with work and study, but not difficult. And no, this was not the death of his mother. So 3 possibilities are now left over. I will reveal the correct one tomorrow. What happens when you take 47' less than Lahiri? Regarding other events, you can check my paternal grandfathers death on 14 May 2001 at 1:30 am in Ronse, Belgium. You have my chart, otherwise I can send it again. Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru Namaste Dhira Ji, Thanks for the note. 1) Using the 47' less than Lahiri, I did not get the event correctly. 2) I think, I have rectified your birth time some time ago to: 10:49:14 AM, I have used this birth time and also +- 5 minutes too, but still I did not get the event correctly. Which means, your Ayanamsa may be correct, I do not know. Summary is I have received few private mails with some events and I am not getting a very consistent results with the principles in my hand. As you know, I do not give up that quickly, so I need to do more discovery to understand these AshtakaVarga principles. I shall do that, when I get more free time and let you know when the time is right. Guest guest
Namaste Raghunatha, >2) I think, I have rectified your birth time some time ago to: >10:49:14 AM, I have used this birth time and also +- 5 minutes too, >but still I did not get the event correctly. My latest rectification that I have done is to 10:45:26 am, at least lagna should be below 26 degrees Cancer, since Visti has determined my d-45 lagna as Gemini, and a prashna I have asked to a friend regarding my d-7 lagna has shown Gemini as well. Thanks for looking and best wishes with your attempts in studying.
