Namaste Sri Pankaj Sharma,

Have been mostly away from the list and caught this mail while

browsing the few latest mails.

Can you please let me know which classic says this?

In his book on Varshaphal, Dr Raman expressed his view that the

Tajaka annual varshaphal chart must be cast for the longitude and

latitude of birth irrespective of where the person is living at the

time. That has been the practice in our tradition w.r.t. Tithi

Pravesha too.

I live across the globe from my birthplace and know several people

who are in the same situation. Based on practical experience with

our charts also, I find Dr Raman's views w.r.t. Varshaphal (and my

guru's teachings w.r.t. Tithi Pravesha) to be correct.

I wonder which classic you are referring to. Please clarify. Please

cc the mail to pvr. I am almost sure to not read the

list for several more days and, when I finally read, I will only

read the latest few mails. So I will miss your reply in all

likelihood.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha

and Tithi Parvesh Chart. It is directed in classical books that

varsphal should be drawn for longitudes and latitudes of the place

the native is living during that particluar year. For example, the

native is born in Delhi but in 2006 he has immigrated to new york

for this particular year. So annual horoscope should be drawn at new

york as per my understanding. But Jhora is erecting chart for

native's birth place and not for the place of residence in 2006. Can

we do this erect for place of residence? Is their such option in

it.? Please advise.
