Respected Guruji's:

I have a friend who is wearing both a Gomedh (Rahu) as well as

Yellow sapphire (Jupiter) for the past 3 -4 yrs. His birth details

are as follows:

DOB: 2nd september 1969

Time: 12:30 pm , new delhi, india

He is doing ok in life and has not encountered any problems as a

result of wearing these Gem stones. Do not know if the stones are

helping him, but they certainly do not seem to be harming him. Here

are my doubts:

1). Granted, guru is the owner of a trikona (5th house), but he is

in conjunction with mercury (8th & 11th house owner) in kanya rasi

thereby forming a YUTI yoga.Under these circumstances, GURU should

take over the functionality of mercury and mercury should take over

guru's role. Hence strengthening GURU should harm the person as he

is now functioning as the 8th LORD. My friend should actually

strengthen Mercury by wearing an emerald.

2). The Gomedh for Rahu shoujld also harm my friend, since

strengthening Rahu would imply weakening the Sun which is directly

opposite Rahu and Sun is a functional benefic for Scorpio

ascendants. Also, according to Dr B V Raman, Rahu in Kumbh is

harmful. No point strengthening him further.

In my humble opinion, my friend can wear a diamond for venus (due to

parivartana yoga with moon, venus is now acting as 9th lord), ruby

for sun and an emerald for mercury.

I would really appreciate if the Guruji's can validate my analysis

and correct me.
