Guest guest
Dear Jyotisha, I have been on this list a while now. I know that Ishta is to be determined as the strongest influence on 12th from Karakamsa in D-9. However, I am unable to understand the deeper implications. Gurus, can you either respond giving a total picture or point me to an article which gives a total picture. Specifically, I am confused by: It is easy to understand a chart in which the Ishta is in the 5th in D-1 and also in the 5th in D-20. It means that the person is naturally attracted to his Ishta, does it not? But what if it isnt. Lets say the Ishta is in the 6th in D-20? What does that mean. And what if the Ishta is in 6th in D-1?Furthermore, what does it mean if the Ishta and AK are conjunct in D-1? And in D-20? In general, what does the mutual positions of the Ishta and AK signify in the D-1 and D-20? Separately, I find it also hard to reconcile BK with Ishta. BK is the one you're naturally attracted to, right? So what if BK and Ishta are different - that moksha is not your natural desire in this lifetime? Will BK lead you to the Ishta? How does the attraction to the BK relate to the desire of the AK? And what if neither the BK nor the Ishta are in 5th from D-1?Additionally, another thing I get confused by is the string of articles I see on viewing the person's "Shad-darsana" inclination in D-20. I dont know how to correlate it with BK and Ishta. Robert Koch in some article says: 9th from Paka-lagna is what is the dharma of the intellect when it comes to worship. So this is yet another dimension for me to reconcile. What if BK says one thing, Ishta says another, and dharma of intellect says a third thing? As if this were not enough, Robert Koch (I am not disparaging Robert at all, simply highlighting the state of my confusion) goes on to say: 7th from AK in D-20 indicates where the AK finds comfort. Extremely complex, no? BK, Ishta, their positions in D-1 and D-20, their relations to AK and to each other, comfort of soul in D-20, dharma of paka lagna in D-20. Can anyone enlighten us with a single picture in which the relationship between all these parts is clear? I will be very grateful if you can, Sundeep
