The offering should be rice cooked with black-gram (This should be done every day). If the recital is done religiously according to proper procedures, you can expect some improvement in the condition, and if everything goes right by God's Grace there will DEFINITELY be a turn for the better in the lady's future. Do you meman the one caused by the breakup of marraige or the marraige broke up due to mental condition ? The current dasha of shani-venus started in 2002. When did the break up happen. There is a kema druma yoga in chart and chandra is aspected by shani and 5th lord of intellect is retrograde in the eighth house. Venus the karaka for marraige is aspected by guru and budh the karaka for intellect has dikbal. So there are redeeming features in the chart. When was this person married ? Please provide some events in life to acertain the validity of the chart ? Any kids etc. ? .... Does this mean divorce has already taken place? her marriage broke up also because of this Couple of questions: 1. Is the trauma because she was forced into doing something? If it is something personal, then, let it be. 2. Jupiter is badly afflicted. The 12th lord (6th from the 7th) can cause husbands egoistic attitude or strife. 3. There appears to be something foreign about the husband. Either he was an NRI or from a different community - perhaps a sub sect of the community. Mangal in kanya, ravi the lord of seventh from moon in tula. karaka venus in simha. Exchange of signs of ravi and shukra. Some consider guru to be karaka for husband. It will help in protecting her life and maintain longevity. Moreover it can bring inheritance. However, it is likely to spoil the significations of the houses it rules, which means 4th and 5th houses. Mental Trauma is thus visible in the chart. Shani dasha, being in the 8th, is likely to bring transformations or seemingly death like situations. The important thing to remember is that such transformations, if accepted by the native, will prove to be ultimately beneficial for the spiritual development of the native which will bring long term peace of mind. Coming to Moon, it is afflicted by Saturn and in its own sign and in Rahu's nakshatra. Rahu is not good in her case. Possible saving grace for mental trauma not converting itself into a long term problem, could have been Mercury. Mercury is in the lagna, it is in the nakshatra of Jupiter and does not spoil its Guna. This could have meant internal resolution or acceptance of the external conditions. However, Mercury is in 6th from the Dasha Lord Saturn. So Mercury antara was not able to help. By prayers to Ma Kali everyday by chanting the mantra "Aum Krim Kalike Namah", she would be able to recover. By doing Sri Krishna Japa every Saturday, help will come too. "Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya" can be chanted. I still await the answers to my questions. They should throw more light on the nature of the problem.
