Even in his last mail yesterday, he did not show any regret and had over emphasized his opinion about certain nation and its people. He has several times disturbed the peace of this group. I have nothing against him. I am just serving the group as a moderator. Bhaskar can join the group again if he sends an apology for his behaviour addressed to all members, through either you or any other group member. A moderator has to moderate, he is not a silent spectator. If Tanvir feels that I am overdoing my duties, he will remove me from the post of moderator. I did not wish to reveal it, but Bhaskar threatened me on chat yesterday night. I was in a session with a client when he buzzed me and used some impolite words. Yet, I have no hard feelings for him. I did not respond to him. I am a moderator on four groups. No one has had any complaints against me. If Tanvir feels that such moderations are not needed, then I myself will leave this group. Let it be a free for all here. I have figured out in this period that he is one of the most rational persons in this world. As a christian who does not live in India, it was very difficult for me to believe that astrology is different from vedas. It was he who not only rationalsied with me but also wirh many residents of the country where I live in, that Astrology has nothing to do with religion, but it is a science. And till date, not only me, but many NRI's and other indigeneous people have accepted his rational approach to astrology. And he has never ever been biased. While being a professional astrologer, who has his livelihood based on astrology, he has never pushed anyone for money neither has he been bothered about money. I ,myself have introduced him to more than 10people including indigeneous people in the country where I live and we have found him, not only committed in his approach, but also very sensitive to our emotions and feelings about our belief. Despite it, he has conveyed to us the rational predictions which we see unfurling one by one. And to call him, prejudiced and mean, is itself very mean on your part. I guess you need some maturity to communicate. Please be more prudent, mature and sensitive when you use such strong words. Guest guest Posted September 15, 2006 Report Share Posted September 15, 2006 dear John even while praising ashutoshji and criticisng shashiji as mean, why you chose silence on the action of immediately banning bhaskarji without giving a warning which is what highlighted by shashiji. you are responding to a mail of instanct action of banning after becoming moderator and instead you have no words to write on the action but chose praising ashutoshji. also you are mixing two things. one is regarding the appointment of ashutoshji as a moderator and all of us instantly congratulated him. but we are all criticising the ACTION OF THE NEWLY APPOINTED MODERATOR in autocratically using his power without giving any warning.
