Guest guest
Dear Sir, Is it possible to know from which direction one's spouse is going to be? IS it also possible to know if a lady is going to die before her spouse (sumangali) or after her spouse. With warm regards Sunil V
Guest guest
Dear Shri. Sunil: By analysing the directions signified by the 7th lord, and by the direction signified by the raasi in which the 7th lord is placed, one can get an idea as to which will be the most favourable direction from which one can take his/her spouse. If you select a spouse from a direction which has the maximum number of bindus in the ashtavarga chart of Venus, it will be auspicious. Regarding sumanglithvam ( lady dying before her spouse), the strength of the 8th house in a female horoscope, and planetary aspects to the 8th house have to be considered. If the 8th house in a female horoscope is afflicted, then the lady may lose her husband and become a widow. Again, there are some general effects ascribed to birth in various thrimsamsas, some of which point to widowhood of the girl. The puberty horoscope of a girl should also be considered for predicting this. Ofcourse, by performance of appropriate remedies, the doshas in the puberty horoscope can be nullified (These remedies should be done within 1 year from the date of getting first menses). But, I doubt if it will have any relevance in today's world where remarriages have become quite common and hence there are so many confounding variables. Take for example the following scenario.....if a lady remarries after the death of her first husband, and then predeceases her second husband, is she a sumangali or not?.......Her horoscope will definitely indicate widowhood as her first husband is dead, but, then can we technically call her a widow once she has remarried? Or, consider this scenario......the lady divorces her first husband, and remarries another person. The second person dies while the first husband survives......Now, is the lady a sumangali or not? Because, though divorce may be accepted legally, according to Shaastraas, marriage vows cannot be broken at all.....It is for life.....Going by that logic, the lady is a sumangali because her original husband survives......In the same scenario, let us have a variation......if the first husband who had been divorced dies and second husband survives, obviously she is living with her husband.....But, will her horoscope indicate that she has lost a husband?.....Obviously, I have not dwelved on scenarios where there are multiplicity of marriages (i. e., more than one marriage!), and the situation is far more muddled and difficult to predict. Ofcourse, the duality of marriages, and the adverse marital prospects can be foreseen, but to predict accurately the exact events is difficult. I personally feel that more research is needed in this direction with many live examples for each of the above mentioned scenario before one can be really confident about predicting these things.
