Guest guest
Dear Sri Srinathji, Your quest for knowledge, debating skills and innovative thinking is commendable. However the thinking that the knowledgeable members among the forum not participating in such discussion is that it may not be due to lack of enthusisam but may be due to a subconscious feeling that the standalone effects of planets in a rasi are well documented already but it's the combined(withother planet/s in yuti and aspects) effects that're much to be learned. It's also true, while dealing with standalone effects, that opinions of some authors differ contrastingly like anyother concepts explained in astrology, and thus need to be discussed. But the standalone effects are subject to much wider modifications when reckoned with it's position within raasi, aspects on it and total configuration of chart as a whole .Seen the complexity of the exercise , such a standalone effect study may also lead to straight away self opinianations/or forming opinions on others by the beginners, that may lead to controversies or subconscious emberrasment or fear complex. But your inquisitive nature spurred me to request you to initiate a discussion on lagna/heliocentric concept/geocentric concepts/planets on astrology. Please read below a few lines for initiating such a thinking. our forefathers might have already tread such paths( like Heliocentric)and either inherently incorporated into the results already and the birthplace of the individual is taken as the centre and the lagna is the point of locus of his standing in the universe.Though the representational parameters, signs, language etc may differ in such discussions the end results in sum will be same from trditional astrology. Copernicus is credited with heliocentric theory ,then howcome the same concept(heliocentric) is found much before Copernicus in the works of Aryabhatta? If Aryabhatta is aware of Heliocentric theory ,then why didi he stick to the same representational (chart shape) principles that have been coming much before him. That means the fundamental premise is that The Sun is at the centre but The birth place of native is taken as centre and the lagna is point of locus in space and all the other planets/stars that are having profound impact on the native are shown as distributed around native. Given your gifted thinking Why don't you try with the concept of universal gravitational force equation F=Gx(m1xm1xm2xm2)/lxl where G is universal gravitational constant,m1 is (earth),m2 is (planet) and l is the distance between the earth and a planet at the given instant of time.Use these as proxy for determining the graha shadbala and deduce the effects. Also corroborate whether the the planets referred in classics are per current equivalent determination i.e. Sun = ravi;moon = chandra etc All the best.
