Guest guest
hey, this is a good pile of rulings! Dear Members, May I add one more layer to the rich Rahu-Ketu pile of divergence. Translator Mr Sareen in his translation of Chamatkar Chintamani (Sagar Publications) says when they are in their own houses Rahu and Ketu do not cast aspect. This nifty rule is of course outside the purview of the text of the Sanscrit classic, and thus has nothing to do with it; it comes in a preliminary section in the book in English. Now, what do we do with this rule unless we first settle which their own houses (as also mooltrikona and uchcha rasis) are? Let's put our head together to sort this out Best, RK Dash ________________ tw853 <tw853 wrote: References regarding Nodal Aspects 1. Uttara Kalamrita by Kalidasa, by Dr. P. S. Guest guest
Dear RK Dash ji, If all the 12 signs are already alotted for the 7 planets, then what is the point in trying to figure out, which is the Own house and Moolatrikona of Ra and Ke? (Remember all the confusions regarding this) Shall I ask you an intersting question? If the lordship of houses are alotted based on the speed of the planets, which house you will alote to Ra and which to Ke? If your answer falls into 2 different houses, then I would ask, Why? If drishti is relative angle between planets, then Drishti for Ra and Ke is acceptable to a certain extent, and we have the support of Parasara as well (though none else). What is Ucha Rasi and What is Moola trikona rasi? We have to answer this question first. Then only we can settle the question on Ucha Rasi and Moolatrikona Rasi of Ra and Ke. Have you ever tried to collect all the slokas that says about the Ucha/Swakshetra/Moolatrikona Rasi of Ra and Ke? Try to do it. You will find some interesting results.
