Sanjay Prabhakaran <sanjaychettiar wrote:[in sept 2005] || Om Gurave Namah || Namaste Jyotishas, I think Guruji Pt. Sanjay Rath, Kept the topic of "Yogas" for SJC Asia 2nd annual Conference, 2004 to start a good study of all the Yogas. I think many learned Jyotishas expressed their views on Classification of Yogas by Maharishi Parashara. One such paper presented by Dr. GK Goel was published in Jyotish Digest. His views on Nabhasa Yoga can be read from http://.org/jyotishdigest/Vol3%20Issue1/volume3issue1.htm Other classifications based on Chandra yoga was taught by Pt. Sanjay Rath in his Kemadruma yoga paper. Personally I feel some questions on Nabhasa yoga is still unanswered. There is some significance in Sage Parashara naming the 2 Dala (2 petals) etc. 3 kinds of aashraya yoga (nala/hollow pipe, musala/solid rod, rajju/flexible rope),20 Akriti yoga (20 Weapons or Shakti's hand?), and 7 Sankya. They are somehow signifying the basic composition of the human body etc, which may remain more or less same throughout life. Warm Regards Sanjay P Hare Rama Krisna Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min.
