Guest guest
Dear All This is trying to commercialize the poojya guruji's knowledge instead of making it available to both the rich and the poor. For an US citizen 10$ a month may be peanuts like Rs.10/- in India. But what about the disciples in India? Will the membership be available for Rs.10/- per month? If as you claim that Guruji is well wisher of all the beings in the world and does shiva pooja for the same he should not be fixing any price for his endeavour, but may solicit donations from the public. Guest guest
dear friend your anguish is understandble but a guru has a right to take a dakshina as prescribed in our holy scriptures. when sri sri ravishankar teaches you how to breath properly and charges rs.1500 for basic course and rs.5000 for higher course, crores of people go for the same and say a big thank you instead of finding fault with him. similarly ramdevji charges a fees for participation in his yoga sibir and people are only happy to avail the same and get benefited. all jyotish gurus have written books which are sold at a price. all jyotish teaching classes have a fees of several thousands of rupees. unlike jyotish and other subjects, mantra and tantra is a sensitive subject and various mantra and tantra books written by several sages are very rare and high priced to get. an ordinary master cannot master these mantras or tantras and imparting them is a great service to the interested. one cannot expect everything for free. TTD charges rs.100 for just having a cursory glance of the balaji idol for less than a minute from a distance and people stand in line. all temples across south india charge rs.20 or above for archana to god and people find no problem. in my childhood, i have seen how priests were mistreated when some stale bananas or some coins of 5 paise or 10 paise were given as dakshina to the priest who performs satyanarayana vratam or any homams. gone are those days. people are spending lakhs of rupees for studies, earning millions of rupees and buying homes worth millions of rupees. as per shastras, for receivng any mantra from a guru, the shishya needs to give a dakshina and shri dakshinamoorthi ji is only asking for a one time annual subscription that too only from interested shishyas or querents seeking his knowledge. from indians he asked only rupees five hundred per annum which comes out to rupees forty per month. you think rupees forty is too much for an indian per month. with best wishes pandit arjun vedic astrology, nagarajan chidambaram <ngrjn_chidambaram wrote: > > Dear All > > This is trying to commercialize the poojya guruji's > knowledge instead of making it available to both the > rich and the poor.
