Mercury is the 7th lord (maraka) placed in mrityu pada in the 12th house of hospitalization. In the natal chart's Vimsottari dasa, Saturn-Rahu is running and Rahu is transiting in mrityu pada, while Saturn is transiting in a trine. My feeling is that he will remain in hospital until Mercury dasa ends on May 24. Saturn dasa will run from May 24 till June 26. Saturn is in the 8th house and occupies A6. My fear is that recovery may be slow till May 24 and some more complications may come after May 24. However, he has more longevity and survive this ordeal and this whole episode will boost his stature as a leader. During Jupiter dasa (June 26-Aug 28), he will recover fully, come into the public and will be received by the public very well. In rasi chart, Jupiter is the lagna lord in 11th with 9th lord. In navamsa, he is the 5th lord (while the current dasa lord Mercury is the 8th lord in navamsa). In D-10, he is the 9th lord and joins lagna lord Moon giving a raja yoga and Gaja-Kesari yoga. This yoga occurs in the 8th from AL and shows sudden and unexpected popularity. The second half of July will see him in news/limelight in a positive way. If anybody likes Pramod Mahajan, it is a very good idea to read Budha kavacham after saying sankalpam in his name. His lagna lord is Mercury and he is in own rasi and navamsa. This conclusion has been given by me on sunday itself, when his family has approached me through some SJC members. On the other hand, you are right in saying that there would be a short spell of positivity before october, 06 and after the mercury comes out of fall but things will progressively worsen for sometime after October. Probably it is yet another time when Predictions about his survival failed(provided His birthdata was correct).. Some astrolgoers of this group may think that i am criticising or challenging their prediction...but I mean to say is that when it's God's wish whom to take back in His kingdom, & doesn't care any prediction.. probably it is a failure in our part & will tend us to do a lot of research specially in prediciting death... This reminds of two stories. Shree Ramakrishna in one of stories said that God laughs twice...when the doctor approches to the patient's mother n tell,"I will take care of your son & its me who will cure him up", God laughs this time as He is the preserver of everybody & knows everybody's longevity..n laughs for the 2nd time when He finds 2 brothers fighting between each other for their portion of Land..as this world belongs to Him & two brother quarrel between themselves for a piece of Land & saying "this is mine, this is mine"... Another quotation in BPHS where Maharshi Parasara says that even Gods cannot predict ones longevity(though he cites some methods for calculating the longevity). My request to revered gurus & learned members of this group if they can please highlight & research in the field as much of the "treasures" left by our sages are lost...
