venus / saturn conjunction and misc

Dear Members

I am seeking clarifications for few issues:

a. saturn / venus combination - it is often said that they both

interchange their effects; so is it restricted to dasa only (i.e.

venus dasa giving saturn's effects and saturn dasa giving venus

effects) or they change their functional role while keeping their

natural characteristics (i.e. venus giving effects of saturn and

saturn giving venus's effects)

b. if a planet is marana karaka (say mercury in 7th), then its

lordship signs suffers (e.g. mercury being 2nd and 11th lord for leo

natives - so if mercury is in 7th then 2nd house and 11th house

related significations suffer); but is sun and mercury are in 7th

house for leo lagna, it causes yoga (lord of lagna, 2nd lord and 11th

lord in 7th house - native progresses after marriage and is

considered good combination for materialistic pursuits), so will this

yoga suffer or will cease to exist?

c. in D10 (lagna is scorpio; AL in 9th house with mercury; 5th from

AL is guru / ketu in pisces - A2 & A9; mars / saturn in 3rd house

from lagna; 10th lord sun in 11th house with ketu; moon exalted in

7th house - A11; venus in 8th house). exalted 9th lord gives easy

luck and 9th from AL gives protection in career. Should ketu and guru

both protect the native in career, and if so - will the rahu's

transit over pisces harm the native.

A5 and 5th house in D - 10 are considered for job opportunities, so

will rahu's transit over pisces harm such opportunities; or rahu

being in 9th house in natal chart will indicate overseas relocation.

d. in varsha phala, if lagna is same as natal chart's lagna; then

the year is said to be with struggle. Does it modify with muntha's

position ?

I have tried to read my chart for job / career prospects - March 8,

1967; 17.40 IST ; Jodhpur- India 26N17, 73E04.

I look forward to guide notes from fellow members.

regards / prafulla
