Guest guest
Dear Shri. King: I am sorry that I could not respond to your earlier posts in this regard also due to some preoccupations.... There are various methods given for birth time rectification in the classics of astrology (both Indian and Western). In Indian classics, the birth time is rectified based on the assumption that human births are possible ONLY at certain vighatis (Indian unit of time measure in which 60 ghatis make one solar day). Again, the vighatis are classified as times in which male births are possible and vighatis in which female births are possible.....Based on these, one can get the nearest time available to the furnished birth time as the rectified time of birth. However, even this has its pitfalls....... In Western Astrology, pre-natal epoch methods are advocated. This is too elaborate to be dealt with in this post. You can read standard western astrological works written by great authors like Charubel, Alan Leo, etc. to know about these methods. Prashna method of rectification can help in ascertaining the correct lagna of birth if the birth is in the cusp of two lagnas due to which the native may be confused as to which is their correct lagna. In fact, using KP method (Ruling Planets theory), an adept can arrive at fairly accurate birth rectification results. By looking back at events in life of the individual and using progression or varga chart transits, we can arrive at a reasonably accurate birth time. However, the best thing is to get the birth time noted accurately as far as possible, because birth rectification by different methods (or even different astrologers using the same technique at different times) may vary leading to confusion. I generally prefer the prashna method combined with the traditional methods of rectification mentioned at the outset of my post for birth time rectification if the request comes from my clients. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Here is the report Generated by website software in Astroexpert.com few years back.. Any comments? Date : 9/23/1974 Time : 9:10: 0 Place : Mannargudi Country : India (Zone : 5.3) Latitude : 10.4 N Longitude : 79.26 E War/Summer Time Correction : 0 Weekday (Calendar) : Monday Tithi : 8 (Ashtami) Paksha : Shukla Ascendant : Libra (LORD : Venus) Sun Sign (Western) : Virgo (LORD : Mercury) Birth Sign (Rasi) : Sagittarius (LORD : Jupiter) Birth Star : Moola Charan : 2 Sunrise : 6: 0:57 Ayanamsa : 23/30/ 4 Lahiri A great deal of confusion pertains to the correct instant of birth. A few scholars suggest that the instant of appearance of the head of the child should be taken as the real birth time. A few others say that the instant when the child cries for the very first time is the correct birth time. And so on. The method adopted by us is based on Shiv Svarodaya Vigyan and some rare Nadi principles propounded by ancient sages. According to this method the entire day is divided into male and female zones and subzones. Thus a male or female birth takes place only when the zone is predominantly male or female in nature. In rest of the zones animal life, plants and vegetation take birth. Analysis for a Male birth on (Hindu Calendar) born under Libra ascendant and Moola Star. Reported Birth time : 9.10002 on 9/23/1974 Female zone under Jal tatwa (Water Element) rises from 9: 0:57 to 9:12:57 on 9/23/1974. Since a Male birth cannot occur in a Female zone the reported birth time appears to be incorrect. Hence the reported time of birth requires rectification. Male zone under Agni tatwa (Fire Element) rises from 9:12:57 to 9:30:57 on 9/23/1974. Also a Male sub zone, which is under Agni tatwa (Fire Element), rises from 9:12:57 to 9:16:33. The closest period from the reported Birth time is 9:12:57. Hence this must be taken as the Rectified Birth Time. Note : Various minute divisions of the zodiac change rapidly. Incase the difference between reported birth time and rectified birth time exceeds odd two minutes a fresh birth chart as per rectified time is recommended. vedic astrology, "dakshinastrologer" <dakshinastrologer wrote: > > Dear Shri.
