Guest guest
Dear respected members Parashara says. ''If the 9th lord is in Parijatamsa, the native will visit holy places,if in Uttamamsa he had done so in the past births as well, if in Gopuramsa he will perform sacrificial rites, in Simhasanamsa he will be mighty, truthful, be a conquerer of his senses and will concentrate only on the Supreme Spirit giving up all religions, if in Paaravatamsa he will be the greatest of ascetics, if in Devalokamsa he will be an ascetic holding a cudgel or a religious mendicant that has renounced all mundane attachments and carrying three long staves tied together in his right hand, and if in Brahmalokamsa he will perform Aswamedha yaga (Hourse Sacrifice) and will attain the state of Lord Indra (god of gods). If the 9th lord is in Irvatamsa the person born will be a synonym of Dharma or virtues just as Lord Sri Rama and Yudhistira (the eldest of Pandavas)''. Is it not clear that,9th house is the house to look for Upasana - If Concentrating only on the supreme spirit is not Upasana ,then what is? a)Venus will have kshethra, hora, drekkana .....,upasanamsha,sidhamsha etc....b)Jupiter will have kshethra, hora, drekkana ......,upasanamsha,sidhamsha etc... Similarly one can study 5th house and the relevant amsha(Sidhamsha) for learning.Parashara has given similar paragraph for 5th house. Each divisional sambandha has to be combined with the relevant bhava for understanding the concerned is one among the numerous methods for decoding the amshas.Humble request to all learned members to study and share their valuable thoughts. Thanks Pradeep
