Guest guest
Sri Narayana, the Lord of Vaikuntha told Gopa Kumara (when he came there): (Brihad Bhagavatamrita 2.4.81-87) "Svagatam! Svagatam! Welcome, welcome! (In India you see this "svagatam" still written at the entrance of many many houses. If you go on Sankirtana in Switzerland you can read on the doors of the people: "Be aware of the dog!") I have been eager to see you for many days! O friend! You have gone through unlimited births, but still you did not show even the slightest interest in me. In this birth you have turned towards me, and hoping for this I have been constantly dancing like a ignorant person. O brother! I could not find any trick by which I could bring you here, violating the injunctions of the vedas and so. I was very upset and sad that you ignored me for so long. Being so eager for your mery I violated the beginningless religious principles that were made by Myself and made you take birth near My own beloved Sri Govardhana, while I descended there as your guru Jayanta. Today you have fulfilles my long-standing desires! Just stay here with me and increase My happiness and yours!" This shows how eager the Lord is to get every living entity to become his devotee. Gopa Kumara saw that Lord Narayana was very happy to see him indeed, but that His happiness was not so intolerable that He would faint. But when he met Sri Krishna in the eternal Vraja he saw that Krishna did faint of ecstasy when He saw him. Gopa Kumar told Jana Sharma (2.6.60) "I was overhelmed by love when I saw Krishna. Being controlled by feelings of love for this wretch Krishna jumped up, came to me, held me around my neck and then fainted of ecstatic love and fell to the ground!" You see how much Krishna is waiting for you to come back! Do you not want to give him that pleasure? Dont think that we can replace the fulfillement and satisfaction we get by rendering Krishna this pleasure (by coming back to him only) by anything of this mortal world.
