Guest guest
Pamho agtsp This is not direclty related to life in stones but it is one example of life existing where previously scientists 'assumed' with 'certainty' there was no life i.e. at temperatures way above boiling point: There was an article once I think originally published in The Scientific American and reproduced in BTG some years ago (or maybe it was HKW). It showed how students took water from within deep canyons under the ocean, deep into the crust of the earth - so much pressure that water reached 400deg C without boiling! They collected it in sealed tubes with a robot. Brought it out and studied it for signs of life - none.. but then they re-heated the tube to 400deg and lo-and-behold many tiny organisms came to life suddenly - they were used only to that pressure and temperature.... Jiva is sarva-gatah (mentioned in B Gita) and srila prabhupada explains that this means they can live in any and every part of the universe, with suitable bodies. Hope this may be useful info..
