But the only one who really would have time to read it > was Jiva Goswami. Srila Jiva Goswami never made an attempt to meet Tulsidas even though they were contemporaries. What about the acaryas after Jiva Goswami like Narottama Das Thakura, Srinivas Acharya Thakura, Shyamananda Pandit, Rasik Murari, Ramchandra Kaviraja, Visvanatha Chakravarti, Baladeva Vidyabhusana, Thakura Bhaktivinoda, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati? Many of them quoted from Valmiki Ramayana but never from Rama-charit-manas. What to talk of reading it they never made an attempt to obtain a copy of the book or they never talked about it as far as we know. So I don't see any reason why we should be interested or promote this book in ISKCON because we have to follow in the footsteps of the previous acaryas.
