Chanting on beads outside the bead bag

I have a query regarding your answer on this:

The verse you have quoted makes no specific reference to chanting japa or

beads. It is not spelt out that this verse is referring to japa, even though

it is in your translation. I can only assume that the context has already

been set in the previous verses. Is this the case? If so, please can you

post them?
