Guest guest
Dear Vraja kisora, Jaya Prabhupada. Please kindly send me the file with *all* the BRS slokas and the comentaries that you have listed. I'm in Russia and mostly my assistant is downloading my mail for me, as he has to go far away to get a phone line. Thus I really have little opportunity to log onto your website. Please include my e-mail for sloka dumps and upgrades please. I've been very eager to learn when Dhanurdhara Swami plans to publish his study guide to the BRS. I heard in Vrndavana last year that he was to publish it at Gita nagari press or something like that. But even when I asked Niranjana Swami (who writes Maharaja) he also had no idea when the book will come out. What's the story on that? Question: In the Bhakti-ras€mta-sindhu (2.5.1), sth€yi-bh€va, permanent ecstasy, is thus described: aviruddh€n viruddh€ˆ ca bh€v€n yo vaat€ˆ nayan su-r€jeva vir€jeta sa sth€y… bh€va ucyate sth€y… bh€vo 'tra sa proktaƒ r…-kŠa-viay€ ratiƒ "These moods (bh€vas) bring under control the favorable ecstasies (such as laughing) and unfavorable ecstasies (such as anger). When these moods continue to remain as kings, they are called sth€yi-bh€va, or permanent ecstasies. Continuous ecstatic love for KŠa is called permanent ecstasy." Madhya 23.46 this r…-kŠa-viay€ ratiƒ does this literally mean, "the deep attraction for Krsna as the objective? This is mentioned in Bhaktivinode Thakura's manah siksa bhajans bhajana 4, and I'm trying to get the translation as perfect as possible. I'm working on the bhajanas for a course I'm giving at Odessa festival in Ukraine. eager for reply at your conveinence thanks for kindness, ys MMDASBR
