Guest guest
When a thirsty man drinks fresh water, he mistakes it for pleasure, although it is actually the termination of distress (thrist). Such are the material pleasures. Eating is the attempt to terminate hunger. Sleeping is the attempt to terminate fatigue. Mating is the attempt to terminate sex agitation. Defending is the attempt to terminate fear.
