Why does everything become impure at the time of eclipse?

The eclipse is an indication of misfortune in the world , as are other

planetary arrangements, such as saturn in aries deblitated with jupiter (all

last year). Misfortune is caused by sinful actions. Therefore the eclipse

is a period of sin or contamination and requires purification.
