But I can tell you he is a very very elusive vaisnava. He comes only at lunch prasada, and no other program. Good luck. When I go back at Janmastami I can try to track down the answer if it doesn't come back earlier. Some gaudiya vaisnavas in Vrndavana in recent years have spurned Garga samhita because they think it is rasa bhasa. I ran into a GM Sannyasi a few years ago casually in loi bazzar and I asked him, "Is GS bonafide?oh yes you can not only accept it, but happily read it, too- I accept it fully" He replied. I didn't ask him which math he was from, but it looks like not all of them agree on this one. It does contain much glorification of the lord, sahasra nama's, balarama kavacha etc. I'm interested to hear if Bhaktivinode Thakure accepted it or not. Another thing is that it is not quoted in other six gosvami literature, this might lend credence to investigation that it is a later work (or uncovered by scholars later on after departure of six gosvamis). ys mmdasbr Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
