I don't think it is from a commentary but there are different versions of MMS. A version with sixty verses was printed in Sri-Stava-kalpa-druma, which was published by Bhaktisaranga Goswami, a disciple of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, in Imlitala, Vrndavana, 1959. This version contains "ma me stritvam" as verse 18 and "yat krtam" as verse 20. > No idea, but there could be various versions of MMS in circulation, and in > such a case one would expect that the BBT chose the most authentic one. > The BBT version has 53 verses. The old one (it doesn't give translator's > name) has 60. According to Sri-Gaudiya-Vaisnava-Abhidhana's Granthavali section, MMS should have 53 verses. Commentaries have been written by Venkatesa and Ananda-raghava. ys end
