Maybe a regular feast was prepared for someone on that day (it was 1972), but by the time I got to the front of the line all that was left were bananas. Those who were unable to squeeze in the temple room or stand at the windows during the Krishna Book reading (with Srila Prabhupada listening from the Vyasasana) until maybe 1:30 or 2:00 AM had taken the opportunity to have their feast a bit early.
