CC was a composition by Srila Kaviraja Goswami on the life and teachings of

Lord Caitanya, drawing from the notes of Svarupa Damodara Goswami and Srila

Raghunatha dasa Thakura. The extensive quotations from the writings of Srila

Rupa Goswami was to substantiate the teachings of the Lord. Thus Srila

Kaviraja Goswami presented his immortal work by taking the readers into

having first hand experience of the Lord's pastimes.
