Guest guest
Devotee: What is your knowledge of God's personal features? Pope: Well we really don't know. I mean God is comprised of the Father, the son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Devotee: What is your knowledge of God's personal activities? Pope: Can't say anything specific. Devotee: What is your knowledge of God's abode. Pope: The Father's house has many rooms. Devotee:What does He do there? Pope: This is not described, at least not directly in our scriptures. Devotee: What is the nature of time? What is soul and what is matter? What is God and what are we? Pope: Well those are very deep questions. I'm sure we could discuss. Devotee: What is the goal of life? Pope: We must sacrifice. Then we will get our reward. Devotee: How does one go about this? Pope: One must pray. Read the Bible. Attend Mass. Observe Holy Days. Devotee: Hmmm. Ok. And how should one maintain one's body during this time? Pope: The Lord will maintain us. Devotee: Yes that is true, but mustn't one have some regular diet? Pope: Yes. Devotee: And what should man eat? Pope: Man should eat a balanced diet: Meat, fish, vegetables, fruits. Devotee: If it were possible to live without these flesh foods such as meat and fish for example, do you think that would be perhaps more compassionate? Pope: Yes I suppose. But we need the protein that the Lord gives us in these forms. And there are so many poor people, they rely on this basic diet as their sustenance. Devotee: What is your ultimate conclusion of the teachings of Jesus Christ? Pope: Well of course we must love God with all our heart, with our entire being. And we must love our neighbors as ourselves. Devotee: Thank you very much.
