Guest guest
Our Humble Obeisances Jaya Srila Prabhupada Some thoughts: We recall from the lectures of Suhotra Prabhu and from other sources, that there are ghosts that can remain near even if Maha-mantra is chanted, they are souls who have some connection to bhakti, but some serious offences also. From early days of ISKCON there are examples. We also had one devotee here couple of years ago who very clearly was influnced by ghosts, although he was chanting. In Sacinandana Maharaja`s book about holy name it is mentioned that when one comes to level of nama-bhasa, ghosts cannot influence anymore, but if one`s chanting remains at a level of namaparadha, there may be these problems. It is generally recommented to meditate them as little as possible. Loud chanting of Mahamantra is said to be the best remedy. ys muniraja dasa
