With your mercy I offer the following reconciliation of the two separate history pieces you quoted, namely Srimad Bhagavatam 10.1.69 and Sri Caitanya Bhagavat, Antya-khanda chapter 6, TheGlories of Sri Nityananda : The six grandsons of Lord Brahma took birth as the sons of Kalanemi, as grandsons of Hiranyakasipu. In that life they worshipped Lord Brahma who gave them a benediction. Hiranyakasipu then cursed them and later in that same life they were killed by Indra. Their subsequent births were as the sons of Mataji Devaki and they were killed by Kalanemi, now in the body of Kamsa.
