Hare Krishna,

I have a question, which may be has been answered a number of times, and I

would be thankful if somebody could provide me with the reference.

When yajna is performed (like for initiation ceremony not some special

yajna) and bananas are thrown into the fire at the end, are they considered

a prasadam (of Visnu) or they are considered a karma, which was meant to be

burned?

I mean, can devotees take those bananas from fire after yajna and eat them?

I have heard different explanations, but never with support from shastra or

Prabhupada.

Ys Shatakula d.
