Here are some references from Folio searches on "result(s) of chanting", the first being the best: "If one is purified by following Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s orders—that is, by chanting the holy name of Krishna—one must certainly be eager to render service to the Lord. This is the test. When one engages enthusiastically in the Lord’s service, it is to be understood that he is reaping the results of chanting the names of Krishna and Hari. . . . After being released from one’s sinful reactions (karma), one becomes eager to serve the Lord. This is the test. Since the Muhammadan governor was immediately purified in the presence of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, he could utter the names of Krishna and Hari. Consequently he was anxious to render some service." (CC Madhya 16.188-189, purport). "The actual result of chanting the holy name of the Lord is that one awakens his dormant KŠa consciousness, his loving service to the Lord" (SB 5.24.20, purport) "So try to understand what is the result of chanting, simply by chanting Hare Krishna mantra. Therefore Caitanya Mahaprabhu recommends, harer nama harer nama harer namaiva kevalam [Adi 17.21]. So without offense, without committing offense, if we regularly chant this Hare Krishna mantra, then we remain freed from all sinful reaction of life and our attachment for the Supreme Lord in devotional service increases" (Srimad-Bhagavatam 6.2.9-10 Lecture--Allahabad, January 15, 1971) your servant, Krishna-kripa das
