Guest guest
>From Srimad-bhagavatam 11.17.33 Except the householders, all the other members of spiritual orders-sannyasis, vanaprasthas, and brahmacaris-should give up looking, touching, conversing, and joking with women. They should not even look at the living entities engaged in sexual activities. Commentary by Srila Visvanatha Thakura: Brahmacaris, vanaprasthas, and sannyasis, should not at all see the sexual intercourse of even the birds and insects. Purport by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta With a spirit of enjoyment, if the brahmacari sees, touches, intimately talks with, plays or becomes intoxicated in the act of joking with a woman, then his ruination is inevitable. One should not associate or speak about women or those who are attached to women. This principle is particularly applicable to the brahmacaris, vanaprasthas, and sannyasis. If a grhastha is uncontrolled, he too will end up becoming a grhavrathas or an attached householder. There are many opportunity for a householder to loose their control. An illegitimate householder is called a grhavratha. There is no prescription or need for the three asramis-sannyasis, vanaprasthas, and brahmacaris, excluding the grhasthas to look at women or to watch the similar behavior of the animals.
