Guest guest
> Please may I know when Yashodamayi accepted Krishna as God? Actually Mother Yasoda never thought of Krishna as God, otherwise the whole rasa between Krishna and her will be disturbed. When Uddhava came to Vrindavan after being asked by Krishna to go and give consolation to the Brajabasis who were having intense feelings of separation from Him, after He left for Mathura, Uddhava tried to console Nanda Maharaja and Yasoda Mata by tell them them Krishna is the Supreme Lord, that they should not lament etc., immediately, Nanda Maharaja cut short Uddhava's preachings by admonishing him that he is unintelligent. Nanda Maharaja was telling Uddhava that how could Krishna be God, when often times He would run to Him and sits on his lap, becuase He was afraid of something. This way Nanda Maharaja would recount so many of Krishna's childhood lila, and would lost in intense feelings of separation from his son. Uddhava had to leave the palace of Nanda Maharaja when he discovered that he could not give any consolation to them. Also whenever Yasoda sees some wonderful manifestation of Krishna such as seeing the whole universe in the mouth of Krishna, when Krishna openend His mouth to Yasoda who wanted to see whether krishna had eaten dirt, Mother Yasoda simply thought that maybe some ghost had attacked Krishna or something, or that she was simply imagining things. So at any other time did Yasoda Mata ever thought of Krishna as God, or even if she thought Krishna is God, she would think that her child is great, that He is even God. There is never any feelings of surbodination on her part to Krishna. We can understand these facts from the writings of the acaryas. ys, Isvara dasa.
