My dear Giriraja prabhu,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. All glories to Srila

Prabhupada.

In London Srila Prabhupada spent about five minutes saying the nicest things

in praise of your good qualities and insisted on continuing in all kinds of

ways to glorify your abilities to convince men to help us and give things

and money. It is very glorious for you that Srila Prabhupada thinks so

highly of you. I envy your position for I am a fool and rascal number one

without any good qualities therefore Srila Prabhupada can find nothing to

praise. I am hoping to someday perform my devotional service in such a way

that he will similarly become pleased upon me and grant his blessings. You

may also grant me your blessings for you are blessed by his lotus dust upon

your head. Therefore all glories to His Divine Grace. I hope that you will

be happy and prosper for a long time by continuing to please your spiritual

master.

I am very glad to learn that you are getting great spiritual encouragement

and strength. Krishna will give you all power. You have persevered

throughout all difficulties and have acted as commander of our army there in

Bombay and always you remained cool-headed throughout. Remain faithful and

Krishna will give you all intelligence and strength how to organize

everything very nicely.

Whenever I hear Prabhupada saying how people like you, I always remember our

walk on the beach with Dr. Patel in which Srila Prabhupada said, “Giriraj

makes so many friends ."
