Is Ceylon the Lanka mentioned in Ramayana?

The 'kingdom' being refered to here, (If I'm not mistaken according to what

I heard SP say on a tape) was Kumbhakarna's, Sp refered that there was a

tunnel to Lanka where the gold was ferried thru to facilitate "sarna Lanka".

In past conversations with Purushatraya Swami he told me that in Brazil, the

archeologists found a tunnel who's limit could not be asertained, indeed the

brazilian govt had to close it up, as people were entering and never

returning, very deep indeed.
