Guest guest
Dear Madhava Maharaja, please, accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! If you don't have a time, please, just skip this and do not answer. Lord Siva said: > > aham vedmi suko vetti vyaso vetti na vetti va > bhaktya bhagavatam grahyam na buddhya na ca tikaya > > "I know Bhagavata, Sukadeva knows it, but I do not know if Vyasadeva > knows it or not. The Bhagavata can only be understood by bhakti." Not just > by dint of one's intelligence, scholarship or by taking help from the > commentaries." - Cc.Madhya 24.313 Gour Govinda Maharaja said that Siva was sure about Sukadeva because Suka heard directly from Siva. Lord Siva is not sure about Vyasa because Lord Siva dis not told SB directly to Vyasa. So, anyways, point is that Sukadeva heard SB even before Vyasa spoke SB to Suka. But we also know that Sukadeva, before he heard SB from his father, was realized monist. Does it mean that Sukadeva knew SB but did not realized SB untill he heard it from Vyasadeva? If it is so, then why he did not realized by hearing from Lord Siva, but had to hear second time? Your servant Acyuta Priya das.
