The planet Ketu is the body of the demon Rahu, who sat between the Sun and Moon, eager to feast on amrta on the occasion of Mohini-murti's appearance, but beheaded by Visnu. Actually Ketu is not a planet, but a shadowy graha. The son of Rsabhadeva, called Ketu, is another person.
