You can get this book from us, Lal Publishing. We have also another book, called Plain Vanilla For temples, in quantity orders we are selling them for US$ 2 each. (General price is about US$ 4-5). We can take your books to India, to the festival. Please let me know how many copies you would like to get and address to send. Your servant, Manorama das PS Please find a letter from Sivarama Maharaja about the books. >---------- Forwarded Message ---------- > >New Text 6825 (37 lines) > Sivarama Swami > GBC Discussions > Plain Vanila and Siksa Outside ISKCON? >--------------------------- >Dear Maharaja's and Prabhus > Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. This year I have published the following two booklets, Plain Vanilla and Siksa Outside ISKCON? Plain Vanilla is geared to refute misconceptions regarding guru tattva. It contains 3 articles by Jayadvaita Swami refuting rtvikvada, one by Drutakarma Prabhu on whether the guru does or does not accepts the karma of the disciple (he does) and one by Satsvarupa Maharaja on how and from whom, to accept Srila Prabhupada's instructions. Siksa Outside ISKCON, was penned by your servant and is geared to answer some of the arguments followers of Narayana Maharaja raise (including the successor acarya speculation). It also gives the basic criterion for who can be siksa guru of Prabhupada's followers. These books have been distributed effectively in my zone and elsewhere. Often temple presidents simple _give_ them to congregation and temple residents. They are most effective as prophylactic measure and can be used as a curative. I have made them available so that we can counteract, in written form the many speculations, which assail ISKCON's followers from other camps. I have undertaken these publications as a service to the Society, unhappy that we remain too open to attack, with little written material to protect our members. I urge you to use these books. They are available at little above production cost price. That is $2 (plus shipping) in quantities of 50 or more. Please send me your order, and where you would like them shipped. I will see that you receive them asap. Your servant: Sivarama Swami (Text 6825) ---------------
