Health. According to Ayurveda after a prolonged fast one should eat a light

meal.

We the members of Sri Panca Tattva Bhakti Vriksha of Singapore have been

always (atleast last 5 years) doing full fast until fast breaking time,

usually sun set / moon rise (only Janmastami after midnight) and break with

Ekadashi Prasadam for all the appearance days of Vishnu Tattva, such as

Ramnavami, Narasimha Caturdashi, etc,.

I do not have ready quotes now, but I had come across quotes and understand

this is what Srila Prabhupada recommended. No grain prasadam on the

appearance day of Vishnu Tattva deities. Only Ekadashi Prasadam, anukalpa

prasadam and more chanting and glorifications of the Lord.

However, different temples of ISKCON seem to be following different standards.

Your humble servant,

Bhadra Govinda Dasa.
